We had a nice little mix for Frank and the boys. They iced up 3 slot bass and kept 2 blues for the smoker. Then we loaded up with jumbo sea bass. Always a lot of laughs with these guys. They’ll be back in the fall 

Travis and the boys had great weather as well as great fishing. They had a limit of slots, and a few blues for the smoker. To round out the day we also had some nice fluke and seabass. See these boys again in a few weeks. 

Scott and crew sailed with us this morning and kept the rods bent with a mix of striped bass and bluefish. The guys boxed a handful of bass for dinner, releasing a number of others. Great Sunday morning of fishing! 

First timers Matt and crew sailed with us today looking to take home a cooler full of striped bass. And that’s exactly what they got, along with half a dozen bluefish. Great action trolling all morning, tossing back some big striped bass and keeping a number of slots. Hope to see these guys again!

After meeting Mike on the dock recently, we had the pleasure of taking him and the gang fishing today. The group of seven kept the rods bent from the minute we got out with a mix of striped bass and bluefish. There were many more shorts and blues coming over the rail today compared to the last couple of days, but the boys still managed to box their limit of slots and even tossed back a few others. Another great day of fishing!   

We had the pleasure of fishing with Ryan Post and eight of his buddies this morning. The action was non-stop, from the minute we put the rods in. We had a few bluefish in the mix, but the striped bass dominated with close to the 40+ lb range. The boys kept 5 slots for dinner and tossed back at least another 6-8 fish. Couldn’t have asked for better action. 

Bruce and crew drove a long way to fish with us today. They were rewarded with big bass, slot bass, and some bluefish to make their dip. We also had a limit of sea bass. It wasn’t the calmest of days, but they stuck it out, and it paid off.

We did a late morning trip with Seth and gang for their first ever NRC fishing charter and we couldn’t have asked for better action. The rods went off on our first pass, landing six slots, some overs, shorts and a few bluefish.  A little snappy with wind against tide but that didn’t stop this crew from loading up with dinner and then some.  Great first trip! 

Jaime returned for his second trip this season, having just fishing with us last week. The guys wanted only striped bass and bluefish and that’s what we caught. We had a mix of slot fish, along with shorts and oversized bass. The crew also loaded up with a few blues. The thick fog made for a wet and chilly morning, but the fishing was outstanding. Not as many huge fish for us today, which worked out just fine. We’ll see them again in August!

Mean Matty Lynch and the boys made their first of two trips this season. Once again, they had a bang-up day, limiting out on striped bass with ease, topping off the catch with a few bluefish. We’ll see them all again in November for a tog trip, except Jaime who’s already scheduled to come back next week!
