COVID-19 Passenger and Crew Safety Requirements Aboard the NOVEMBER RAIN

We remain committed to providing a safe environment for our passengers and have implemented the precautionary steps outlined below. All passengers will be provided with these guidelines prior to boarding the NOVEMBER RAIN. Individuals who subsequently board the vessel are thereby affirming their understanding and agreement to abide by these directives.
  1. Passengers will not be allowed to board if they:
    1. Tested positive for the COVID-19 virus and exhibited any symptoms within the 14-day period prior to the date of their fishing trip or cruise, even if cleared by a doctor.
    2. Were or believe to have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus during the 14-day period prior to the date of their fishing trip or cruise.
    3. Are not wearing acceptable face masks at the time of vessel boarding. Face masks must cover the nose and mouth.

  2. All physical contact is prohibited without proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

  3. In addition to wearing at least an acceptable face mask at the time of boarding, passengers must have sufficient PPE for replacements during the trip in the event necessary.

  4. Passengers and crew must maintain a distance of at least six (6) feet, unless safety or core activities require shorter distances. Any time passengers or crew must come within six feet of another person, acceptable face coverings must be worn. At no time should a passenger approach the captain at the helm unless in the instance of danger or as a safety precaution.

  5. Fishing equipment (rods, reels, bait) will be provided to passengers, if desired. However, passengers should not use or otherwise come in physical contact with knives, nets, gaffs or other equipment or materials used by the crew unless directed to do so by the crew. Fishing equipment should not be shared between anglers, when possible.

  6. Food sharing is discouraged and passengers must bring their own coolers, food and beverages. Passengers will not be allowed to use the vessel’s coolers, refrigeration or microwave.

  7. The vessel will be thoroughly cleaned with appropriate disinfectants before and after each trip, including door handles, restroom, railings , fishing equipment, and other surfaces passengers may come in contact with during a fishing trip or cruise.

  8. All passengers will have access to fresh water, soap, hand sanitizer and paper towel aboard the vessel. Passengers should wash their hands regularly throughout their trip.

  9. Unless in the event of danger or safety precaution, passengers should remain outside, in the aft part of the vessel. No more than three (3) passengers will be allowed in the cabin at one time.

  10. If any passenger begins to display symptoms of the COVID-19 virus during a fishing trip or cruise, the captain will return to the dock immediately. Full payment will be owed to the captain before the conclusion of the trip, even if the charter is cut short as a result of the above.

  11. All adult passengers will be required to provide their full name, home address, email and contact phone number after boarding the vessel and before the vessel departs. This information will be collected as a safety precaution during the COVID-19 pandemic. Contact information will not be shared.
