Who keeps the fish?All legal catch belongs to our customers.
How many fish can I keep?The NYS Department of Environmental Conservation determines the saltwater fishing regulations each year. Below are abridged regulations for 2017. To view the complete guide, please visit their site.

Do you clean the fish?Of course! Upon returning to the marina, we will fillet and clean all of your fish.
Do you catch sharks?Yes, we do fish for sharks. The most commonly caught are Makos, Threshers and Blue Sharks. Makos and Threshers are generally preferred; Blue Sharks are typically released as they are not commonly consumed.
Are children allowed?Absolutely. We have children of all ages fish with us, and always do our best to make sure they have a great time while staying safe. And, under NYS Regulations, that means children under the age of twelve must wear a life jacket when fishing.
What time do you leave the dock?Please refer to the Types of Charters we offer to view times. It is recommended that you follow up with us a few days before your trip to confirm the exact departure time.
What happens if the weather is bad?Safety is our main concern. If the weather is inclement, at our discretion, your trip may be canceled. We keep a constant eye on the weather, and will be in touch with you prior to your trip if there is a possibility that we will want to reschedule.
What do I need to bring?We will provide all bait, tackle and entertainment. You should plan to bring any food and drink you'd like to have on board (please no glass bottles). Depending on the season/weather, you should be prepared to bring the appropriate gear (eg: rain jacket and boots).
Can I bring alcohol?We want our customers to enjoy themselves, so yes, alcohol is permitted. We just ask that you drink responsibly and opt for cans instead of glass bottles.
When is the best time to go?Ideal fishing times vary by season. Please refer to Our Season Schedule to help you decide when is the best time to go.
Do you have air conditioning?Yes, we have air conditioning, as well as heat for those colder trips. If you'd like to know more about the November Rain, you can read About The Boat.
