We had the pleasure of fishing with Rudy Lopez and the boys again for their annual trip. The conditions again today were not ideal, but we made the trek out and the striped bass fishing paid off. We didn’t get all of the slots that we needed, but the boys packed away five bass and released a handful of other bigger fish. Fluking wasn’t on the agenda today given the weather, so we stuck to the bass and had the boys back to the dock in time for lunch. Hope to see them again next season!

Although the weather was less than friendly, Rebecca and Gideon had a blast catching striped bass and bluefish. They kept a couple of bass for the dinner table and released everything else. We’ll see this mom and son team again in August for some tuna fishing!

It was great to have Marc out for his first trip of the season. The jig bite was great, as him and the girls caught plenty of bass. They released the overs and kept their limit, with some jumbo scup in the mix too.

It was a beautiful day for Riza and the crew. We started out bass fishing, keeping 5 slots and releasing the rest. Then we went bottom fishing and iced up 10 flatties for the boys.

Great diamond jig bite for the David Aboudi charter. Catch and release most of the morning, after easily packing away their slots. Wish everyday was this easy!

Despite the pea soup fog and rain, this gang got it done! Kept their six for dinner and tossed back plenty of other bigger and smaller fish. Great bass bite!

Casey and the boys had some great Montauk fishing this morning. They caught more than their share, releasing most of the big ones, and keeping a few slots for dinner, as well. Perfect way to start the weekend!

Today we had annual Tim Murray trip. The bite didn’t disappoint, with solid bass all morning. They kept some for dinner, and released plenty of big ones, to live another day.
