Once again, we had the Tommy Bender charter out for a shark fishing trip today. There was tons of life offshore, including whales, porpoises, and some small tuna. We also managed a couple of shark bites, with a mystery bite to start, followed by an approximately 150lb mako and then a small white shark. Not as much shark action as we would have liked, but a great day on the water nonetheless. Until next year, boys!

We had our long time customer Pete Wagenhauser out today. The fluke didn’t come easy, a few everywhere. They did put a nice catch together, with some sea bass in the mix as well. They’ll be back for their annual blackfish trip in the fall  

Mike and his family worked all day to put a decent catch of fluke together. We also had some nice sea bass in the mix. Lots of laughs today, looking forward to seeing these guys in the fall. Enjoy the dinner!  

The bottom fishing was solid for City and the boys. They iced up 3 bushels of scup, then added sea bass on top of that. This crew will be back again next month.

We had Sam and her family out with us for their first trip on the November Rain. We spent a short time trying for the striped bass, but were quick to change tactics when the bites were scarce. We kept to the bottom fishing and the group of nine kept the rods bent from start till stop with jumbo porgies and a couple of sea bass mixed in.

Our annual fishing trip with the Tom Kowalski crew proved to be a productive one with the bottom fishing. The striped bass were less than cooperative, but the jumbo scup were plenty full, and the gang went home with over 50 porgies and plenty of food for that night’s dinner. We’ll see these guys again for a tuna trip in a few weeks.

We had Filipe and the boys out for some bass fishing this morning. They kept busy with the over sized fish, and managed a slot for grill. Enjoy guys, see you for our tuna trip.

Today was Alex’s first trip of the season. We didn’t catch any slots this afternoon. They loaded up on sea bass and scup, for fish tacos for dinner. Looking forward to having them out again next week
