Don Schlegel and his buddies returned for another trip with us today and the striped bass were waiting. We had our eight man limit in no time, with a few passes producing up to five fish at a shot. The sea bass were a little less cooperative, but the boys still managed a couple dozen along quality fish with a handful of jumbo scup as well. After a week of lousy weather, we couldn’t have asked for nicer conditions today.

We didn’t have the greatest conditions for Rob and the guys, but they made it work anyway. The bass fishing was as good as it gets, keeping an easy limit, throwing back plenty of overs. Next up, we took a ride and caught a nice pile of blackfish. Well done gents!

The weather was anything but calm, but Henry and his crew got it done. The striped bass fishing was pretty good, as long as you could stay on your feet. We didn’t have a 12 man limit, but half a dozen slots was good enough for the boys, who still went home with plenty of fillets. It was great to see them again!

October 11, 2024

It was a breezy afternoon for Alex’s trip. They kept their limit of slots and released countless others. We even managed a few sea bass. Till next season guys!

We had the pleasure of having Joe out for his fourth trip this season. The bass didn’t come easy, but they stayed with it, and managed their limit. Till next season gentleman.

October 6, 2024 (Trip 2)

We could not have asked for a better afternoon for Craig and his family. The group of 12 fished with us for the first time today, and the bottom fishing did not disappoint. We had a couple dozen sea bass fill the box for dinner, along with a few nice scup. Awesome afternoon watching these guys have fun together while catching their dinner!

October 6, 2024 (Trip 1)

After fishing with us in the past, with a friend of his, Sean decided to book a trip of his own for himself and some of his buddies. We left the dock in search of striped bass and had immediate action before the sun was even up. We landed our limit of slot bass in no time, releasing a couple of others before turning to do some bottom fishing. Great way to spend a fall Sunday!

October 5, 2024 (Trip 2)

We had the pleasure of having Ned and his family and friends out with us for the afternoon today. A weather front moved through right before we left the dock, but the sun was back out, and the wind laid down for these guys. It wasn’t a long trip, but the gang had a blast bending the rods, putting a few striped bass and bluefish in the box for tonight’s dinner. Great time with these first-timers. Hope will see them again next season.
