Mike Mazza and his buddies made a first-time trip with us this morning and the action paid off quite nicely. We had a good mix of striped bass and bluefish all morning long, and the boys went home with a cooler full of fillets for their dinner.

We had an absolutely savage striped bass bite this afternoon for Vincent and his buddies. From the minute we started, the rods were bent, with one bass after another. A couple of bluefish in the mix only added to the fun. Insane afternoon fishing!

We had the pleasure of having Michelle and Jeff with us for another fishing trip this morning and the action was nonstop. We had a handful of slot striped bass and some bluefish. We also tossed back a number of oversized striped bass. We could not have asked for a better trip! We’ll see them again next month for some tog action!

We had Chris and the boys out for their second trip of the season. They started trolling, catching a few over sized bass and bluefish. Then we grabbed some sea bass and scup for the grill. See you guys next season.

After cancelling Jeff’s first trip, we were able to get him out today. They caught plenty of bass, keeping a slot for the table. We also had a boat limit of sea bass for the grill as well.  

We had the pleasure of having Joe and the boys out for their third trip of the season. They wanted to load up on sea bass, and that’s just we did. Caught a limit, and was able to get in before the wind ramped up.

We had the pleasure of fishing with first-timers Shane, Sally and their family this afternoon. The group wanted a few fish for dinner and that’s what we got them. We stuck to bottom fishing and it paid off with a nice catch of sea bass and scup. They kept just enough for dinner and returned everything else to the ocean. Enjoy guys!!

It’s been a few weeks since we’ve seen a really good bass bite, and today the waiting finally paid off. Charlie and the boys kept the rods bent all morning with striped bass and bluefish. We kept a few fish for dinner, and released everything else. Lots of overs, but it was still great to see the fish return.
