James and the boys decided to leave the bass alone and focus on bottom fishing. We fell a few short of a boat limit, but put plenty of meat in the box. Always lots of laughs with these guys, see them in November for their annual blackfish trip.

We once again had the pleasure of fishing with the Katinas family. Like last year’s trip, we could not have asked for a nicer day on the water. We started the trip striped bass fishing, and got some of the younger anglers hooked into a few big bass and bluefish. We spent the second half of the trip bottom fishing and loaded their coolers with some sea bass and scup for tonight’s dinner. Awesome time with this family, three generations of family! Looking forward to next year’s trip.

We met Billy on the dock a couple of weeks ago. We got to talking, and next thing we knew he booked a trip with us. And we couldn’t have asked for a better morning. We started off with the striped bass and had immediate action. Every pass had one or two fish. No slots, but the guys had fun keeping the rods bent. After an hour or so of doing that, we switched over for some bottom fishing and packed away a few sea bass for the boys’ dinner tonight. Looking forward to having them out again in the future.

Bernie and the boys loaded up today with sea bass and scup. We made a few drops and put a nice catch together. Thanks guys !

Chris had an afternoon trip booked, then decided to come in the morning instead. We had solid action right out of the gate, then it slowed. We didn’t have any slots today, but they had no problem, catching trophies and releasing them to swim another day.

The John Goess roofing crew got it done today. They had non-stop action. Catching a limit of jumbo sea bass, and even had a few scup in the mix. Well done!

Kyle and the boys had a great trip for Brian’s bachelor party. They stayed busy with big bass all morning, even finding one slot for the grill. Congrats!

Erik and boys came out for their annual trip, and the bite was on fire. Everyone caught two monsters, then we put a limit of sea bass in the boat as well. They’re in the book already for next season.
