The fluke bite was picky today for Tim and the boys. They stayed with it and managed to put a catch together. Looking forward to see these guys for blackfish next month.

The bass were waiting for a Dave and his crew this afternoon. We caught a few oversized bass, then caught some sea bass for dinner. Nice way to spend the day.  

After canceling yesterday’s trip with the Jersey crew, we were able to get them out today. They worked hard and put a nice catch of fluke together. Till next season fellas.

We had some challenging conditions for day one, of Jim’s fishing trip. It was cranking NE, so we tried to hide and did the best we could. They boxed up more than enough for tonight’s dinner. Looking forward to getting these guys out Thursday for a calmer day.

We were able to get Bill and the boys out, after canceling an earlier trip due to weather. They had a busy afternoon with scup and sea bass, and even had a few fluke. Till next spring boys!  

We had the absolute pleasure of fishing with Charlie, his three sons, and other family and friends today. We took the boys for striped bass and bluefish to start, and after an hour or so, and not a ton of action, we decided to switch over for some bottom fishing. The guys kept the rods bent from starts until stop with sea bass and porgies. Lots of smaller fish to weed through, but they put together a nice couch of over 30 sea biscuits and at least as many scup, on top of a handful of bluefish from earlier in the day. A great trip with these first timers, and we hope to see them again next season.

Our annual trip with Dan Smith and crew was this afternoon and, as always, we had a blast with the guys. We stuck with the bottom fishing and packed away a nice catch of sea bass along with a few scup. Perfect for their BBQ dinner. Until next year’s trip, boys!
