August 10, 2020 (PM)

The sun was shining for Rob and the crew, but the bass didn’t want to corporate with us. We tried for a bit, then caught some nice sea bass for dinner. Still a beautiful afternoon on the water.

August 10, 2020 (AM)

We had Damian and the gang out for a morning of bass fishing. The bite was red hot from the beginning, they kept 7 slot size fish and released number 8 to live another day.

August 8, 2020 (AM)

It was lock and load fishing for Ron and the boys. We had our limit of bass in a half hour, then caught some sea bass as well. Looking forward to see the guys again.

August 7, 2020 (PM)

It was a little gray and overcast for Angela and her family, but the fish cooperated just fine. They kept three slot sized bass before we lost the tide, then landed a few sea bass as well.

August 6, 2020 (Full Day)

After a few days off, it was great to be back on the water again. We had Tim out for his third trip of the season, and the bite didn’t disappoint. They put 6 nice slot bass in the box, then limited out on jumbo sea bass. Looking forward to seeing these guys again in November.

August 3, 2020 (AM)

We had Marc Jacobs out for his second trip of the season in some sloppy conditions. The bass were hungry and they loaded up the box quickly. Most of the fish were on the over side this morning, releasing numerous 40 pound class fish. Looking forward to seeing them in fall.

August 2, 2020 (Full Day)

We had a fun day offshore shark fishing with Rob and gang, celebrating his brother Rich’s 50th birthday. Although a slow start in the morning, the action turned on in the afternoon with blue sharks, a brown shark, and a pup hammerhead. We also saw half a dozen sun fish swim through our slick. The icing on the cake was watching a submarine about two miles from us steam offshore. Very cool. It was a day of celebration and laughs! Hope we’ll see these guys again!

Sorry! No pics from this trip.

August 1, 2020 (PM)

Joe, Christine, Jen and the kids spent the afternoon fishing with us. It was a blast, as usual. There were tons of big striped bass around, most of which we had to release, but still fun to fight. The bottom fishing was impressive and on two drifts, the guys boxed about 20 keepers. Always a great time with this Stella Maris crew! Until next summer!
