We had the pleasure of meeting Flo and Stu during the Suffern outdoor sportsman show earlier this year. Without Stu’s knowing, Flo booked a surprise trip for his birthday. Today was that trip and we had a blast with them. The gang kept the rods bent all morning with striped bass and bluefish. We topped off the catch with a basket of sea bass and scup. A great day with these first-timers and we hope to see them again next summer!  

We had the pleasure of having Tim and the boys out again this year. The guys caught their limit of slot sized bass, releasing the rest. Then we went sea bass fishing, catching a limit of them as well.

Great day on the water with first-timers Keith and crew. Tons of striped bass—little, big and too big! The guys boxed these 6 and tossed back a bunch of others before turning to the bottom fishing, which produced a nice catch of sea bass.

Another great trip with Ed and the boys in the books. The fishing was a little off, especially compared to yesterday, but the guys still managed a few striped bass and sea bass. Tons of small striped bass this morning, but playing catch-n-release on the diamond jigs was fun. And they still managed to put a few away for dinner! Looking forward to the next trip with these guys!

The bass fishing was red hot this morning for Monica and the canine crew. We kept 9 slots, and released the rest. They also had a couple of dozen sea bass as well.

We had Ray and the Jersey boys out today for a day of fluking. It was no slaughter, but we still managed to put a nice catch together. These boys will be back for their annual trip.

First-timers Dan and crew spent this afternoon with us. Good fortune came for our new charter, as the boys landed their limit of striped bass almost immediately, with a number of oversized fish being returned to the ocean. They polished off the trip with a handful of sea bass. We had a great time with this crew and are looking forward to their next trip in September 2021.
