Al and the boys came all the way from North Carolina for some fine Montauk fluke. Jordan was all smiles with these beauties. Well done buddy!

It was great getting back on the water and we had a blast celebrating Connor’s bachelor party today. The striped bass were a little uncooperative, but we kept the rods bent putting some bluefish in the boat, along with a couple dozen sea bass. Perfect weather. Great way to spend a Saturday!

Tim made his second trip of the season. The guys put a few striped bass on the boat, and also released one that was probably in the 45-50 lb class. They topped off the live well with about 50 sea bass, up to 4 pounds, and a handful of jumbo scup. A beautiful day on the water. We’ll see them again for a tog trip in November.

Gabriel traveled all the way from Florida to catch this bass. Adam and his crew snuck out this morning before the weather moved in, to catch bass and sea bass. Nice trip for these guys.

Ruben returned for his second trip of the season with us. The ocean was still a little churned up from the morning breeze, but the fish were chewing. The gang went home with striped bass, bluefish, sea bass and scup. We look forward to seeing them again next year.

No pics from this trip.

First-timer Matt Ruchta and his family and friends sailed with us today. We started off striped bass fishing. After putting a few slots in the box, the crew caught their limit of jumbo sea bass, to 5 pounds, with a few scup in the mix. Great action, yet again, on the NR and we hope to have the pleasure of getting these guys out again.
