Kevin returned hoping for a repeat of last year. The striped bass were a little pickier this time around, with more shorts than our 2018 trip, but the guys managed a few nice ones to enjoy for dinner.

Gladys was hoping for a repeat of last year and that's just what she got. The guys hammered the striped bass today on the boat, with the smallest fish in the 35 lb range.  Beautiful weather, great fishing and an awesome gang. Couldn't ask for a better day of fishing. Happy 4th!

Scott and the boys spent the afternoon with us, catching and releasing over a dozen bass. They didn't want any fish for the cooler, but kept the rods bent pretty steadily throughout the trip. Hope they enjoy dinner and the remainder of their Montauk vacation!

We had a great morning with George from Westlake Fish House and his buddies. We headed out for striped bass and although it took a little while for tide to get going and the bite to turn on, it paid off nicely once the fish started to chew. Tons of laughs. Great crew!

Brothers Chad and Peter, along with their families, fished with us on Tuesday afternoon. Since we had kids on the boat, we decided to do a little bottom fishing, which paid off handsomely with about a dozen sea bass. The kids were great anglers and got the hang of things pretty quickly. Going home with fish was a plus!

We had the pleasure of fishing with Ross and his family for their annual reunion, which took place on the East End this year. The fish were being a little picky this morning, but they gang managed a few for lunch, tossing back a couple of others. Great family and we hope they enjoy the rest of their stay out here.

This afternoon the boys drove out from Brentwood for some Montauk sun. The guys had good action with bass, keeping these and throwing a few back as well.

We had another successful trip with the Krupnicks today, minus Julie, who couldn't join us. The gang kept three striped bass, tossing back a few others. They also limited out on sea bass. Another great trip with three generations of family. We always enjoy seeing these guys and hope can make it work again later this summer!
