We had another great trip with Russ, Jeff and Jason this evening. The guys wanted striped bass and that's what we got them! They kept two for dinner and tossed back a bunch of other keeper-sized fish. Up until a minor squall that brought pellets of rain and lightning, we had perfect weather. Fortunately, the storm only stuck around for 15 mins, so no washout! Until next year!
Had another awesome trip with Tim and the boys, the first of their two charters this season. The striped bass were being a little picky to start, but we put a few nice-looking fish in the box before heading off for some bottom fishing. More great action with the sea bass, putting over 20 fish in the cooler and tossing back twice as many. Looking forward doing it again this fall.
We spent the day with Matt and his crew. The guys saw action from start til stop with striped bass, bluefish, scup and a few sea bass as well. The bass bite was hot early in the morning on the ebb, but it quieted down a little admin on the flood tide. Great weather and good fishing. You can't ask for more than that!
Had a great day with Yannick and family, crushing the striped bass, bluefish and scup. Three generations of laughs and loads of laughs today, weighing in fish up to 37 pounds. Steady action from start til stop, with slack tide producing some nice porgies. Hoping to see some photos of their dinner this evening!
