Dan Gallagher and family made the trip with NRC today. The bass were initially being a little fussy this a.m. so the gang decided to try their luck bottom fishing, which paid off nicely. Lots of shorts in the mix, but some nice quality fluke and sea bass made it into the box. Couldn't have asked for a nicer day!
David and Peggy Tanner, along with their family, sailed with us for a twilight trip this evening. The gang wanted to fight a striped bass and after we accomplished that, we spent another couple of hours bottom fishing. The action was consistent from start to finish. Great meeting these NRC first-timers!
We sailed with the Ray Simms crew this afternoon and had an absolute blast. The gang of 14 kept busy with jumbo sea bass and scup, loading the box with dinner. A great time and no better way to spend the day. Looking forward to next year!
One of many sea bass landed this afternoon.

We sailed with Jeff and family from APF Marine Group this afternoon. We wanted to catch the gang a few big bass and that's exactly what we did, landing the biggest at 44 pounds. Was great finally getting them out with us and we're looking forward to doing it again.
We sailed with the Tom Zaweski crew of 12 this morning for some bottom fishing. We stopped for a quick pass with the chutes for a couple of bass and bluefish and then headed south for some sea bass. A great group of guys who I hope we're able to get out again.

This morning we had the pleasure of fishing with the team from Emerald Flora, first-timers for NRC. The crew had a busy morning with jumbo sea bass as well some porgies. Looking forward to next year's trip.
