We spent the afternoon with Meghan and friends and almost immediately after putting lines in, we had three bass in the 35 lb range. Wanting to take only what they planned to prep for dinner, we called it quits on the bass and spent the rest of the trip catching fluke and sea bass. Beautiful weather + great fishing = Happy Sunday!
Eric Chiarulli and crew made the first of their two trips with us this morning and the action did not disappoint. Within the first hour, the guys landed six monster striped bass. We spent the rest of the morning bottom fishing and although the action wasn't as fast and furious as with the striped bass, the guys managed to put some sea bass, fluke and ling in the box. Very nicely done! Looking forward to our next trip in September.

We sailed with Mike and his crew this afternoon and had an awesome time celebrating his bachelor party and loading the boat with bass. The laughs were non-stop from start to end and so was the action. Tons of bass and blues. A great afternoon, made even sweeter when I learned that we had two Navy veterans with us. Mike and Pete—thank you for your service.
Bob Savio and crew made their annual trip with NRC this morning and the action didn't disappoint. The bass bite was pretty good early in the morning before the ocean got too crowded. Things slowed down a little once mid morning came around, but the guys still managed to put plenty of meat in the box. We even found two sea bass in the mix. Looking forward to 7/7/18 for our next trip. Hopefully, Brett can make that one!
Today we had three generations on the boat—Bill, Bob and Jamie Latta. We took our little anglers bottom fishing for some sea bass and fluke. The team worked hard and put plenty of fish in the box. Big fish fry tonight!
Vincent Crisco and gang came out with us this morning for a half day of fun in the sun (and some clouds). They wanted bass and bluefish and that's what they got. Tons of bass, though the big ones were being picky. No slobs like last night, but no complaints from the crew. Great start to the day!
NRC had a great evening with Jimmy, Caitlin, John, Ryan and Dylan, who took their dads on a twilight fishing trip today. The kids definitely ruled the cockpit. The action did not disappoint and after landing three slob bass (plus a bunch of shorts), the guys called it quits with more than enough for dinner and then some. Great time with this group and hope we'll be able to make it an annual trip.
