Today we had Julian and the boys out from Coastal Arborcare for a day of bottom fishing. The guys had a blast catching some jumbo porgies and sea bass, as well as a few fluke to round out the catch. Not a bad day in some beautiful Montauk weather.

Today we had Chris Hill out for our annual sea bass opener. It was red hot with multiple double headers, and fish to 4 pounds. To put the icing on the cake, we put some nice fluke in the box as well. Not too shabby!
We sailed with Leo and friends this afternoon for a quick 4-hour trip. As with the morning, the guys kept busy landing an abundance of bass and blues, putting a few of each in the box for dinner. Nicely done, gents!

We had the pleasure of celebrating a belated Father's Day with father-and-son duo Matt and Chris. Steady action all trip, including plenty of shorts. But the 2-man team never showed any signs of exhaustion as they swung bass and bluefish over the rail all morning. Great having them with us.

We sailed with the Nick Bannon crew today and although we ended up cutting the trip to a half day due to the weather, we had a great time with the group of nine. We had a nice mix of keeper and short bass, putting a few in the box for dinner. Looing forward to getting the guys out again...next time with nicer weather!
The guys toughed it out this morning despite the pouring rain. A few laughs didn't hurt either!
A quick shot of a couple of today's fish. Not slobs, but good eatin'!
