Today definitely felt like a September day, cool breezy morning. That didn't stop the Carlson family from catching jumbo sea bass and a few fluke. They were a tough bunch from the Midwest, sticking it out at the rail and working hard. Looking forward to seeing them next summer.

This morning we had Elias and the boys out. We started out bass fishing for a bit, then decided to head for calmer waters. The guys had a great day catching their limit of jumbo sea bass. It was good to get off the dock after the weather we just had.

Josh Paulson and family made their annual trip with us this morning. Since the striped bass have been picky on the Ebb, we decided to spend the morning bottom fishing. Fortunately, the action didn't disappoint and everyone, including our three young fisherman, kept the rods bent with sea bass. Great seeing these guys again and congrats to Josh and Lauren on the upcoming arrival of their son! Can't wait to get him out next year!

Kevin Kern and crew spent the day with us catching sea bass, fluke and striped bass. We started the trip off bottom fishing and had immediate action, with sea bass up to around 4 lbs, along with some fluke. The striped bass proved to be a little picky later in the morning, but the guys put plenty of fish in the box for dinner today and next week!

We had Mitch and the gang out for a great afternoon of bottom fishing. The guys had their limit to 4 pounds, we had non-stop action all afternoon. The beautiful weather was a bonus!

The Gebbia family spent the morning with us and enjoyed consistent action all trip long. Great bottom fishing and the kids had a blast. Looking forward to having them out again!

This afternoon we had Samantha and her family out celebrating Russell's 12th birthday. He was on fire catching fluke to 6 pounds, and some healthy sea bass as well. Happy Birthday buddy!

The team from Montauk Plumbing had an awesome morning of fishing. We had bass up to 41pounds, took a little time for them to bite, then it was red hot. Great day with great guys!
