We pushed back our departure time this morning due to the windy conditions. But the fish chewed immediately once we were out on the grounds. We had a nice catch of sea bass and scup for first-timer Justin and his buddies. Plenty of food for tonight’s fish fry.

It was great to have Paolo and the boys out again. They wanted some fish for dinner, so we made that happen. We loaded up, and headed back early. We’ll see these guys again for some fall bass fishing.

We had Vinny from A1 Roofers out, as well as his crew. They had some fluke, as well as some nice sea bass. They released everything, and just wanted some steady action.  

It was a great afternoon for the AIDOC crew. They went out for a few hours, and released everything they caught, to swim another day. Plenty of laughs, and plenty of smiles today.

Dan and his buddies came out with us today for a fluke trip. Unfortunately, the flatties were not cooperative and we instead spent the day fishing for sea bass and scup. The action was consistent from start until stop, with a lot of small fish in the mix. But at the end of the trip, the guys had a few dozen fish as well as a couple of bonus fluke. Great time with NRC these first-timers!

First-timer Jenn Tammany and gang fished with us this afternoon.  We stayed local to try to find a few bass, even though it’s been weeks since we’ve seen any.  Our efforts weren’t rewarded with any action, so we changed tactics and hit the bottom fishing grounds.  There were plenty of fish to keep the rods bent, between sea bass and scup, but many more shorts than keepers.  The group stuck with it, though, and put together enough fish for that night’s dinner.  Hoping we’ll see them again!

We had the pleasure of fishing with Brandon and crew this morning, and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. The fishing wasn’t too shabby either! The gang wanted some fish for dinner and we loaded their coolers with a nice cull of sea bass and scup for the grill.

We were able to get Chris and the family out again today. They caught a little of everything, scup, sea bass, and a few fluke as well. Enjoy your dinner!
